#Emmys 2020 Nods: #HBO’s Watchmen leads the pack, #InsecureHBO get their 1st NODS and MORE! [full list]

maxresdefault (41).jpgNominations for the 72nd annual Emmy Awards were unveiled Tuesday, and Netflix walked away with a massive 160 nods — the most of any network or streamer.

Netflix’s “Ozark” and HBO’s “Succession” led drama categories with 18 nominations each, while Amazon’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” dominated the comedy side with 20 nods. However, HBO’s “Watchmen” landed the most nominations of any series, securing 26 nods for the Regina King-led show. HBO’s Insecure get their first nods with nominations for Best Comedy Series, Best Actress and Supporting Actress, Outstanding Music Supervision!

“Saturday Night Live” alum Leslie Jones was joined by Laverne Cox, Josh Gad and Tatiana Maslany to announce the nominations. The Emmy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will air Sept. 20 on ABC.
