More information is coming out about the Tamar Braxton 911 emergency call.In the call, Tamar’s boyfriend, David Adefeso mentions that Tamar had been ‘upset’ with WE tv prior to him finding her unresponsive. Also in the call, he seems rather calm in light of the circumstances which raised eyebrows about his behavior.
Tamar’s relatives find it strange David was discussing details of her alleged network beef while she was desperately in need of medical attention. Both David & Tamar had seen the pilot and trailer for her new show and David said Tamar was upset with HER portrayal in the clips. But in actuality, this may not be 100% accurate.
We’re told David got angry about the show’s content, and how HE was portrayed in it — and HIS reaction, in turn, made Tamar upset.
The family believes it’s further proof David was the one who really had issues with the show’s editorial choices and this may have influenced Tamar’s actions.
Tamar’s family has also noticed a change since she started seeing David. Sources say Tamar’s mood swings tend to align with how David’s feeling. They also say he’s very involved in her business decisions.
If you recall Tamar’s marriage had a similar tone which ended in the dissolution of their union and business dealings.
Let’s hope history is not repeating itself with David.
As for David’s portrayal in the pilot, sources that have seen the episode relays that David, at times, comes off as demanding and controlling. Remember, David is Nigerian and a shrewed business man. These attributes are common in their culture and rewarded in business. As a Nigerian, I know firsthand.
Take a look at the trailer:
In the episode, we’re told Tamar decides to go on a spiritual healing journey, which includes no sex for 45 days, something that really upsets David. It’s hard to deny that tension is played up in the promo. During one scene, Tamar and David are arguing behind a locked door and Tamar yells, “David, stop!” before producers barge into the room.As for David’s portrayal in the pilot, someone who’s seen the episode tells us David, at times, comes off as demanding and controlling. In the episode, we’re told Tamar decides to go on a spiritual healing journey, which includes no sex for 45 days, something that really upsets David.
