What’s Going ON HERE!?
On Friday, former Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum was allegedly involved an incident involving crystal meth in a Miami Beach hotel where other men including Gillum were NAKED and one man OD’d.
The story, first reported on Twitter by conservative news pundit Candance Owens, details the encounter in the report obtained from the City of Miami Beach Police Department.
I am told Andrew Gillum and his buddies were naked when cops arrived, which is the reason an orgy is suspected, but not confirmed.
According to Owens, the incident included three bags of crystal meth that were impounded.
Police say they were called to the Mondrian South Beach early Friday morning and found paramedics treating Travis Dyson, a 30-year-old Miami man, for an apparent heart attack. They say two other men were in the room: Aldo Mejias and Gillum.
Police say Gillum, who was not arrested, was too intoxicated to answer questions. An offense incident report says that officers found three clear plastic baggies of suspected crystal meth on the bed and floor.
A police report alleges that Miami Beach Fire Rescue workers received a call about a possible overdose at a local hotel on West Avenue. Andrew Gillum, along with two other men, Aldo Mejias and Travis Dyson, were said to be in the same hotel room where the alleged overdose occurred.
Travis Dyson was allegedly the one who booked the hotel room with Aldo Mejias’s credit card. Dyson checked into the room at roughly 4 in the afternoon on Thursday (March 12). When Aldo Mejias got to the room that evening, he allegedly saw both Travis Dyson and Andrew Gillum in the hotel room. They allegedly appeared to have used an unknown substance. Dyson is said to have been the one to open the door for Mejias before he allegedly fell on the bed.
Mejias called police after he realized that Dyson couldn’t breathe properly and threw up on the bed before falling again. Mejias also tried to help Dyson via chest compressions before alerting authorities.
The report also alleges police had difficulty getting Andrew Gillum’s side of the story because he was too intoxicated.
Gillum, a former Tallahassee mayor and a Democrat, issued a statement Friday afternoon in which he denied using drugs:
“I was in Miami last night for a wedding celebration when first responders were called to assist one of my friends,” Gillum said in the statement. “While I had too much to drink, I want to be clear that I have never used methamphetamines. I apologize to the people of Florida for the distraction this has caused our movement.
“I’m thankful to the incredible Miami Beach EMS team for their efforts. I will spend the next few weeks with my family and appreciate privacy during this time.”
Wild night or something else….
