NEW MUSIC: #Drake CLAPS BACK at #PushT with ‘Duppy Freestyle’ [audio]

Miss a MINUTE you miss A LOT.  I meant to post this yesterday.. but I ‘laid across the bed’ for a lil’ nap, then that turned into a 6 hour SLEEP!  Well let’s go.  Pusha T dropped his hotly anticipated Kanye-helmed album. “Daytona’ yesterday and on one song there are some BARS about Drake!  On ‘Infared’, Pusha insinuates that Drake had a GHOSTWRITER. Of course Drake claps back QUICK.. but get into this:

He raps:

“It was written like Nas, but it came from Quentin, At the mercy of a game where the codes is missing.”

Now there have been RUMORS that Drake has used this guy for VERSES in the past.  So why is Pusha taking shots at Drake?  I mean WHY NOT?  You haven’t been out in a while, why not go after the PERSON who is RULING the charts right now to shine some light on you.  Well, Pusha says it is in response to some bars Drizzy spit on ‘Two Birds One Stone’.  Drake said:

“But really it’s you with all the drug dealer stories That’s gotta stop, though You made a couple chops and now you think you Chapo If you ask me though, you ain’t lining the trunk with kilos You bagging weed watching Pacino with all your niggas Like, “This what we need to be on,” but you never went live You middle-man in this shit, boy, you was never them guys I can tell, ’cause I look most of you dead in your eyes And you’ll be tryna sell that story for the rest of your live.”

DIRECT aim at Pusha, right? You know how he TOUTS that he was the big time DRUG PUSHER back in the day. But to hear DRAKE’S verse, you would think he was just watching GANGSTER movies and he ‘AIN’T ABOUT THAT LIFE’! So with Pusha’s JAB thrown, Drake WASTED NO TIME clapping back on ‘Duppy Freestyle’. Drake cops to the fact that Quentin Miller ‘worked on a couple [verses]’. But SAYS how can he [Pusha] clap at him when the E.P. of his [Pusha] album has asked DRAKE for assistance in writing verses in the past! SO DIRECT aim at Kanye West. Drake says:

“So if you rebuke me for working with someone else on a couple of Vs / What do you really think of the nigga that’s making your beats? / I’ve done things for him I thought that he never would need / Father had to stretch his hands out and get it from me / I pop style for 30 hours, then let him repeat.”

Now if you DON’T follow hip hop, Drake is REFERENCING “Father Stretch My Hands,” “30 Hours” and their most recent collaboration “Pop Style.“

He goes in more on the Miller, ghostwriting claim and his dealings with Miller:
“And as for Q, man I changed his life a couple times . Nigga was at Kroger working double time . Y’all acting like he made the boy when I was trying to help the guy.”

So Drake is saying that Kanye most likely helping Pusha write verses too. And you know that is not too far of a stretch. Yeezy is HANDS on in the studio when it comes to MUSIC he is working on. But Drizzy wasn’t done with Pusha. He then chides that Pusha not even a PRIORITY on his own label!

“Don’t push me when I’m in album mode / You not even top 5 as far as your label talent goes,” Drake said of the Pusha-T’s placement on the G.O.O.D. Music roster. NOW THAT’S COLD… but kinda TRUE.. LOOK HOW LONG it took before his album dropped and all the other G.O.O.D. Music stuff that has come and gone. I’m just saying. I didn’t even know G.O.O.D. music was still a THING until RECENTLY. I mean…. IJS.

So let me stop talking about it.. LISTEN to the TRACK:

a ‘BEEF’ is ON!
